NO TROPICAL STORMS, JUST BRIEF PASSING SHOWERS

MOIST TROPICAL EASTERLY TRADE WINDS

An upper level low pressure over the western Gulf has put the lid on any tropical storm formation there. The trade winds can cause rain showers day or night here, not just during the afternoons. Some people call this “duck and dodge” weather. You can keep dry outside if you can duck under an overhang or inside for a few minutes to dodge the rain, then return to your outdoor activities until the next shower suddenly appears.
