WATCHING THE CARIBBEAN NEXT FEW DAYS

The name of the next storm will be SANDY. Likely place of formation is in the Caribbean Sea or the Bahama Islands.


It will probably form as a Tropical Depression early this week. When it becomes a tropical storm around midweek, upper level winds should steer it across the Bahamas Thursday or Friday. Most models show the westerlies taking it eastward away from the U.S. coast line into the open Atlantic over the weekend.
