TWO LOWS IN THE TROPICS, AND A COLD FRONT HERE

Upper level wind shear will prevent the weak Bahama low 500 miles from Jacksonville from growing into a tropical storm.

The low pressure 1,000 miles east southeast of the Lesser Antilles may slowly grow into a depression or storm toward the end of this week. A couple of cold fronts will be moving across the western Atlantic late this week that may turn the storm northward; however, they will be followed by a large high pressure that may block it and keep it moving towards the Bahamas. Stay tuned!
