ISAAC CREEPS OVER LOUISIANA WITH HEAVY RAINS AND FLOODING!

At 11 PM EDT Wednesday, Tropical storm ISAAC was centered about 70 miles west northwest of New Orleans, moving northwest at 6 mph. Peak winds were 60 mph.

Tropical Storm KIRK is in the mid-tropical Atlantic 2,000 miles from Jacksonville. It poses no threat to the U.S. as it will move on a northerly course and turn to the northeast over the weekend.
Update: At 8 AM EDT Thursday, Tropical Storm ISAAC was centered 125 miles northwest of New Orleans. With winds down to 45 mph, it was moving northweswt at 8 mph
