DDEPRESSION #7 MOVING TOO FAST TO LAST?

At 11 AM Saturday, Depression #7 was centered 40 miles east of Barbados with 35 mph winds. It is moving towards the west at 25 mph.

If Depression #7 becomes a tropical storm, it will probably be short-lived. One reason is the fast motion does not allow the rotating winds to accelerate (gather momentum) around the center. Secondly, the storm will likely encounter a region of upper level shearing.
