COASTAL LOW WEAKENING INLAND

Low pressure and thunderstorms head for southwest Georgia

After a night of 50 mph wind gusts along our coast, northeast winds will slowly decrease and become southeast today. Heaviest rains will move across the Suwannee Valley this afternoon and into southern Georgia by tonight. Northeaster condtions along the Georgia coast will decrease as the low pressure moves farther west and north tonight and Tuesday.

Very humid conditions will linger over our area through Tuesday. Any periods of sunshine may be interupted by sudden passing rainshowers until drier air moves in Wednesday.
