“WHERE HAVE ALL THE SHOWERS GONE?”

Rains have headed out to sea with tropical storm BRET.

Temperatures are heading towards the 60s over south Georgia and parts of north Florida tonight thanks to lower humidities and clear skies*. A trough of low pressure over the eastern U.S. is weakening the western side of the Bermuda high, allowing tropical storm BRET to accelerate northeastward over the open Atlantic through midweek.

*Update – Tuesday morning’s low temperature in Jacksonville was 65 degrees, breaking the previous record of 68 by 3 degrees!
