NEXT NAMED STORM FORMING IN THE CARIBBEAN?

Saturday's Gulf clouds will reach parts of Mexico this week.

While IGOR heads westward in the open Atlantic 2,600 miles from the Florida coast, a tropical wave entering the Caribbean shows promise of becoming the season’s 11th tropical storm. The 10th storm, Julia, formed off the coast of Africa Sunday. The Caribbean system low pressure was centered about 150 miles east southeast of Jamaica continues to movie westward.

High pressure over the eastern Gulf and the Bahamas will probably keep this system on a track towards the Yucatan peninsula and the Bay of Campeche this week.
