BLOCKING HIGH OUR FRIEND?

Danielle shouild stay at sea. Will our weekend nor'easter turn Earl away?

This weekend there will be two hurricanes churning Atlantic waters well offshore. A large high pressure system centered over the mid-Atlantic states and New England will send nor’easter conditions our way this weekend. While hurricane Danielle heads on a northerly course 1,000 miles east of us, hurricane Earl will be 2,000 miles southeast of us on a track towards the northwest. We won’t know if it will take a track behind Danielle, or shift farther west to threaten the U.S. east coast until the first of next week.
