Tropical Depression forms from disorganized showers in Bahamas.

A closed circulation of low pressure in the southeastern Bahamas indicates that a tropical depression has formed. At 11 AM Thursday it was centered about 250 miles southeast of Nassau moving west northwest at 15 mph. Conditions are now beginning to become more favorable for tropical storm development. As a tropical storm passing through the Florida straits between south Florida and Cuba, the only effect on northeast Florida will be more moisture in our easterly seabreezes and occasional gusts to 25 or 30 mph on Friday.

The low pressure in the Bay of Campeche may become a depression before crossing the east coast of Mexico on Friday.
