STORM THREAT ENDS IN NORTHERN GULF

The low pressure has moved inland!

With the low pressure center now inland over southern Louisiana, tropical storm formation is no longer expected.

The tropical wave over the Yucatan peninsula will be watched during the last half of this week as it emerges back over warm tropical waters in the western Gulf of Mexico. The chance of becoming a tropical storm in the next 48 hours is around 30%. Interests along the Texas coast should be aware of developments between Thursday and the weekend.
