Low pressure is centered 330 miles east of Charleston, SC, forecast to turn east.

Lighter winds with less showers can be expected here as the weak low off the Carolina coast shows no sign of intensification. As the low turns eastward, it will dissipate as a back door cold front south of Nova Scotia moves down the coast Thursday and Friday. The front will become stationary over our coastal waters this weekend. The chance of coastal showers may increase again by Sunday or Monday.
