NW GULF STORMS WITH FRONT

No tropical storms. Front slips south here.

No tropical storms. Front slips south here.

A tropical wave east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward around 15 mph, and the northwest Gulf of Mexico has thunderstorms associated with a frontal wave that will move across the southeast US the next few days.

The meandering front over northeast Florida that was south of us Sunday, then north of us Monday, has moved south of us this morning giving us a slightly cooler day. The frontal wave advancing from the west will push the front north of us again on Wednesday sending high temperatures back up around 90. The scattered thunderstorms associated with the front around Thursday will be followed by the coldest weather so far this fall season. Mostly clear, dry weather should continue through the weekend.
