Henri hangs together in spite of upper level shear

Tropical Storm HENRI strengthened to 50 mph in the very warm, moist lower level air 400 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands. The storm should reach its demise Thursday over the open Atlantic waters north of Puerto Rico, where a drier atmosphere exists under upper level shear from the north and northeast.
North Florida and southeast Georgia will experience unseasonably warm temperatures as tropical air fills in south of frontal systems to the north.
