Upper winds sweep Gulf moisture over fronts to cause gray skies and showers

The front that was just south of Jacksonville Sunday has shifted north of us into Georgia; however, the eastward moving low pressure will push the Georgia rains offshore while scattered downpours will move across northeast Florida during Monday afternoon and evening. Warm, humid weather with scattered daytime showers can be expected into midweek.

Meanwhile, weakening tropical storm GRACE is about 500 miles southwest of Cork, Ireland moving northeastward in the extreme eastern Atlantic.
