The chance of tropical storm formation is slim over most of the Atlantic and adjacent waters. Only the remnants of FRED, now tracking westward in the central tropical Atlantic, display a chance of redevelopment on its long track over warm tropical waters.
Our weekend rains shifted southward giving us a sunny Sunday in north Florida and southeast Georgia. Showers from the Gulf will spread eastward to the I-75 corridor on Monday. Much of northeast Florida and southeast Georgia will have partly sunny skies for the first half of the work-week with a 30% chance of mainly afternoon thundershowers.
