No Storms, Just Showers

The clouds that were south of Hispaniola and Puerto Rico over the weekend are now being directed across the western Caribbean; thus, interrupting the beautiful cruise weather between Jamaica and Cancun. The showery weather will cross Yucatan this week and settle over the southwest Gulf of Mexico by week’s end.

Cool fronts will remain over the northern U.S. with remnants of a few briefly creeping down the coast near Georgia. These will only serve to increase popup afternoon thunderstorms of a few afternoons; otherwise, our weather will be typical summer sun and clouds cooking up a few afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms.
